About Us
Hillfield AFC was originally formed in 2009 as Wakegreen juniors. But soon after, with the juniors growing so quickly it was clear we needed a bigger venue and there started Hillfield AFC.
We moved to another venue shortly after, but once again, with growing expansion we needed to move to an even larger ground, and finally laid roots at Birmingham and Solihull rugby club, leasing the fields adjacent and sharing the club house.
In the space of a few years we went from having just shy of 100 juniors, to over 350! And in that space we have now managed to create one of the biggest clubs in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football Leagues (CWYFL)
We believe our success is down to having such dedicated volunteers from our coaches to committee members, and not forgetting our parents too.
With all our coaches DBS checked and having a good blend of FA Level 1, 2 & 3 qualified coaches within the club, reinforces our ethos of providing a safe playing environment with a focus on player development and fun.
